I'm buying a house in London as a first time buyer. While checking the address on Land Registry and on Royal Mail I noticed that it is reported as two separate flats, even though in reality it is a single freehold terraced house.
I didn't get an answer from the seller yet, but I suspect it used to be split into two flats at some point in the past and it was converted back to a single home.
Do you think this could cause any complications down the line? How hard/expensive is it to fix the problem?
