My tenant moved out earlier than we agreed leaving arrears and damage totalling c£7k.

I claimed the full initial deposit back from the DPS and whilst at the property this morning a letter was delivered from them, addressed to the tenant despite me giving them his new address.

Do I keep it and wait for the expiration or return it 'gone away'?

The former is more attractive but the latter is probably the correct thing to do....
