Currently using CIA, due to renew for the year and just thought I'd ask if you have any particular recommendations for companies? I use CIA because they were cheap when I first signed up with them and their prices havent increased too much over the years. Never needed to actually use their services and havent really shopped around since I initially started using them
Direct line. Over the years I’ve had a few issues and always been happy with how they’ve been dealt with, so probably will stay with them.
I’m using Alan Boswell at the moment… seem to be well thought of, and were cheapest premium by a long stretch.
I switch every year and use whichever offers the best cashback on Topcashback. They're all brokers, and whichever you choose, you're probably ultimately insured with Lloyd's of London
Direct line.
Yep me too, I have claimed twice this year and direct line have paid me, so I’m a happy chappy
Brightside - they handle finding ones that’ll take flood risk properties and I’ve a few of those
Landlord insurance is cheap considering what they will cover for. Always get legal and repossession cover and home emergency cover. £500 will get you all that. Don’t skimp. I use Direct line for rental. Remember Insurance is something you need to rely on it’s not like car insurance where it’s legally required so you get the cheapest. Protect your investment!
AXA are very good with minimal annual rises.
What insurances are folks having for BTL ?
1 to cover any damages to the property, another which covers non-payment of rent and legal.
I use Direct Line
Let alliance
Depends on price and what they offer.
Sometimes simplybusiness, sometimes direct line, sometimes total landlord insurance.
I have no loyalty. If you like CIA stick with them but come renewal time shop around and see if you can get some money off.
I use CIA as well.
It will be ok until it isnt.
