Direct line Landlord Insurance Emergency Cover UK

Hi all

Just about to rent out my first property without an agent. Direct Line appear to be the most competitive for landlord insurance. I'm thinking of getting emergency cover for callouts. Does anyone have any experience with this ? and do you know if boilers are included as part of the emergency cover callout ?

thanks

Yes I have it. It covered a pcb on one boiler. But I had another boiler go and they said it was uneconomical to repair because the tenants had twisted all the knobs off trying to reset it

I buy emergency cover as a stand alone policy, about £50 a year with homelet.co.uk. Have used them a couple of times for claims with no major concerns also.

Erm, I’m sure DirectLine will have the answer.
